As an alumnus or undergraduate, when you register to become a site member you are asked to choose your home chapter as your primary group. In addition, each indivdual may choose to participate in other groups, both public and private.
Public groups are available to all registered site members and are based on the area in which you live, your profession, your volunteer roles within Sigma Phi Epsilon, and the Leadership Continuum programs you are involved in.
Private groups are available for individual donor levels, and Foundation volunteers.
Choose from the following groups:
-
Area Groups provide a way for brothers living in a specific area to connect regardless of home chapter affiliation. Area group home pages are created as requested. If you do not see your area group listed, please contact either Laurie Ursiny or Doug Scheibe (contact information given below). When a home page is created, you will need to provide a name for your group and a contact person who will be responsible for the administration of the webpage.
- Award Recipients provide a way for fellow recipients to stay in touch. These groups are open for all site members to view, however, the group membership is open only to recipients of specific awards. Use the "Join this group" link to request membership in one of these groups.
-
Donor Groups provide a way for donors to connect with others with a similar giving history. These private groups are open only to donors in each of the lifetime giving categories and to the Board of Governors. Use the "Join this group" link to request membership in one of these giving level groups. Click

-
Foundation Volunteers include both public and private groups. The public groups include a home page for each district in the fraternity. The private groups include a home page for District Governors and the Foundation's Board of Trustees. Use the "Join this group" link to request membership in one of these groups.
-
Home Chapters allow you to become a part of chapter groups in addition to the home chapter chosen as your primary group.
-
Leadership Continuum groups allow you to connect with others who have participated in Carlson Leadership Academies, Conclave, EDGE, Ruck Leadership Institute and the Tragos Quest to Greece.
-
Profession groups allow you to network with others working within the same profession.
On each group page you will find recently updated profiles of new group members, related events, a group blog (the group blogs are intended to be used as a way to post group news, events, and information), related group news and a photo album. Group Administrators maintain the information and photos posted on each group home page.
