Adminstrative Additions

In line with the Foundation's strategic plan, we will add two administrative positions to support our donor family and the services we provide.  I am happy to announce the hirings for these positions.
 
Development Administrator for Chapter Campaigns -- Mindi Seidel-Adler, MS Ed.
* Manage the Alumni Communications Program to ensure all chapters are properly communicating with their alumni through newsletters, web sites, special communications and events, especially in preparation for housing campaigns; working with direction from the Director of Development for Chapter Campaigns.
* Coordinate information with third party service providers as it relates to chapter campaigns and alumni communications.
* Support the administrative needs of the Director of Development for Chapter Campaigns.
* Coordinate Foundation events; working with direction from the Executive Director.
 
Mindi starts Monday, October 9th.  She has a B.A. in Individual Studies from the University of Maryland, including a semester abroad.  She also has an M.S. in Education from Old Dominion University and a Graduate Certificate in Professional Writing from ODU.  Mindi has eight years of professional experience in event management, program direction and student activities.
 
Development Administrator for Annual and Special Campaigns -- Laurie Ursiny
* Support the administrative needs associated with the annual campaign and special campaigns of the Foundation.
* Database management, including record/file organization and data integrity and reporting.
* Coordinate Foundation communications such as the web site; working with direction from the Executive Director.
* Coordinate campaign-related events; working with direction from the Executive Director.
 
Laurie starts Monday, October 16th.  She has a B.A. in History from Virginia Tech.  Laurie has 19 years of professional experience as an executive assistant and operations manager with advanced skills in database management, reporting and communications.
 
Susan Ilchwith her extremely valuable experience and organizational knowledge, will continue in place with her role as Gift and Grant Administrator, managing proper relations with donors, chapters and scholarship and grant recipients and the proper accounting and acknowledgment of gifts and awards.  She will also continue to provide the general administrative support for the Executive Director.  Susan has a B.A. in Business Administration from Virginia Tech to go with her 21 years of experience with SigEp.
